Hazardous Materials Decontamination Class

This training is intended for HAZMAT Team members and public safety personnel. Trainees do not need to be on the HAZMAT Team to attend.
Trainees will learn how to safely remove hazardous residues, ensuring toxic substances do not spread from the “hot zone” to other locations. It ensures emergency personnel know how to safely remove their PPE without exposing themselves to trapped contaminants. Students will learn how to contain, clean, and properly dispose of decontaminated gear.
